LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Prospect is governed by the Non-Government Organisations Act (2016), and is registered by the National Bureau for Non-Government Organisations in Uganda, registration number 9045 and operation permit number 1443.

The organisation was incorporated in November, 2011 by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau. Registration Number-80010003601857.

GOVERNANCE

We are led by a Board of Directors which serves a 5-year term.

The board provides strategic direction to the organisation, governance support to the Executive Director, ensures continuity, and safeguards the interests of beneficiaries, donors, and partners.

The Board appoints the Executive Director of the organisation, who is assisted by a management team consisting of the Finance and Administration Manager, Finance Manager, Evaluation, Learning and Research Manager, Senior Programmes Manager, and Resource Mobilisation Manager.
