Legally Registered and Licensed
Prospect is a legally registered and licensed entity. We are governed by the Non-Government Organisations Act (2016), and registered by the National Bureau for Non-Government Organisations in Uganda, registration number 9045. In line with the NGO Act, the organisation also separately holds a permit to operate number 1443.
Additionally, the organisation was incorporated in November, 2011 by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau. Registration Number-80010003601857

We stand on a robust leadership and organizational foundation powered by experienced and passionate staff committed to bringing about lasting change.
Financial Transparency
We are committed to total financial transparency and accountability, we strive to ensure donor resources directly reach communities that need them the most, and that administrative costs don’t exceed 10% of our annual budget.
Commitment
We were founded by survivors of the 2010 terrorist attack in Kampala-Uganda, an event that directly led to the birth of the organisation and inspired our deep and long-term commitment to a safer and just world.
